ENHANCED “PRIV” RATE EXTENSION, RAIL STAFF TRAVEL CONCESSIONS
In September 2014, the fare on which a “Priv” fare is calculated was expanded to include day and period walk-up off-peak fares (including super off-peak fares), for an initial trial period of one year
The arrangement has now been extended for a further year, up to September 2016. The terms and conditions, and restrictions, applying to these tickets continue as at present.
This 12-month extension is being jointly supported by all of the Train Operating Companies, who want to provide access to increased UK discounted rail travel benefits for their employees as well as those safeguarded employees in other rail companies. The success of the arrangement will be evaluated again during 2016

Wightlink Reciprocal Staff Travel Deal
We have a reciprocal staff travel arrangement with Wightlink.
This enables Stagecoach South Western Trains employees to use Wightlink services at a discounted rate, and vice versa.
The details of the deal for Wightlink employees have been briefed to the relevent ticket offices.
The information here gives details of the deal for Stagecoach South Western Trains employees.
Both Wightlink and Stagecoach South Western Trains employees can take advantage of the reciprocal agreement for travel to and from their place of work.
This includes standard rates only and excludes season tickets.

Eligibility:

Method of Booking and Payment
Hovertravel Staff Discounts can only be obtained from South West Trains Ticket Offices in the Solent area. This is defined as stations between Haslemere - Eastleigh -Salisbury and Poole. Also available at Ryde Esplanade and on-train on Island Line services.
If the Ticket Office is closed or the station is un-staffed, the discount can be obtained when purchasing a ticket from the Guard if boarding at one of the stations listed.
NOTE: South West Trains operates a Penalty Fares Scheme. If you fail to purchase a ticket before boarding a train, where there are facilities to do so, you may be charged a Penalty Fare
EAST MIDLANDS TRAINS
A Staff Travel arrangement between South West Trains and East Midlands Trains has been agreed and will commence on Friday 1st February 2008. All South West Trains' employees will be eligible for free travel on trains operated by East Midlands Trains.
This arrangement applies to duty, residential and leisure travel for all South West Trains' employees, and leisure travel only for their dependants, spouses or partners who qualify for South West Trains' travel facilities
All South West Trains' employees and associated dependants, spouses or partners will be eligible for free travel on East Midlands Trains' services on the production of a current South West Trains staff/dependant travel pass. The terms and conditions of travel will mirror what South West Trains' employees and their dependants, spouses or partners receive when they travel on South West Trains' services.
Please note that this travel concession does not form part of your contractual terms and is granted at the sole discretion of South West Trains and East Midlands Trains and may be withdrawn at any time.
